Council has issued a notice of intention to designate this property. Once designated, the designating by-law protects the heritage attributes it describes; it does not require a replica to be rebuilt after a loss. In the Province's words: “The designation by-law does not require the owner to replicate any lost heritage attributes. A replacement building can be of a different design.”
