97 Napier Street is the western half of a two-storey semi-detached wood-frame dwelling constructed circa 1880, consisting of 95 and 97 Napier Street. The semi-detached building has a rectangular plan with a long façade, a projecting side gable roof, a double gable in the front façade, a two-storey rear wood-frame wing and a subsequent one-storey addition.
