Save 4878 Jepson St (Christian Reform Church)
It is on Niagara Falls's heritage register as a listed property. Unless council issues a notice of intention to designate, it comes off the register on January 1, 2027 and can't be listed again for five years.
The Church was built in 1916 at a cost of $16 000. It originally was the First Baptist Church of Niagara Falls. As the congregation grew, the decision was to build a new church and the Christian Reformed Church purchased the property for $40 000. They have been worshipping in the building for over 100 years. From the municipal heritage register

2. Write to your councillor
Council decides whether to issue a notice of intention to designate. A short, personal letter from a resident counts.
Ontario's municipal election is on October 26, 2026. Send the same letter to the candidates in your ward and ask where they stand.
3. Help with the research
Heritage staff need evidence. A research record gathers the building's history and why it matters, in the shape they use.
Priority for volunteers: 32/100 (lot of 1,000 m² or more; register has a description).
